I am looking for an exceptional permanent home for LaRusso
Breed: Pedigree Snow Bengal
Born: May 2025
Sex: Male
Neutered: Yes
Microchipped: Yes
Vaccinations: Up to date
Veterinary health check: Completed
Pedigree documentation: Included
I have had LaRusso since he was just four weeks old, and I am the only owner he has
ever known. He has spent virtually his entire life with me, growing up in a loving home
alongside other cats.
LaRusso is a stunning young Bengal with a beautiful pale coat, extraordinary blue eyes and an
incredibly expressive little face. But his looks are only part of what makes him so special!
Personality – Clever, Playful and Full of Character
LaRusso is, extremely intelligent, energetic, curious, chatty
and absolutely full of personality!
Underneath all that Bengal energy is an affectionate cat. LaRusso loves human
attention and enjoys being the centre of his person's world.
He follows you around, settles beside you, purrs constantly and even loves belly rubs. He's
wonderfully talkative, too —
He is funny, charming, affectionate and endlessly entertaining
LaRusso was named after Daniel LaRusso from The Karate Kid. A fitting name, as it turns out— he's remarkably athletic, fiercely determined and quite convinced that he's the star of his own action movie
- Living With Other Cats
LaRusso is confident and very much likes being top cat.
He has grown up alongside five other cats and can live with other cats. However, he isn't
particularly keen on competing for attention or territory.
In my own home, some of his territorial behaviour arose when he was competing with the other
cats, particularly over access to my bedroom and to me.
For this reason, I believe LaRusso could be especially happy as an only cat, provided he
has plenty of human companionship, playtime and things to keep him busy.
He may absolutely love having his favourite human largely to himself!
Outdoor Access – An Important Requirement
Outdoor access is important for LaRusso.
He currently has access to a cat-proofed garden. Based on my experience with him, I would
only consider a home where he could continue to enjoy safe outdoor access.
Ideally, this would mean:
A properly cat-proofed garden, or
A large, secure outdoor cat enclosure (catio).
I would also consider a home offering unrestricted outdoor access, but only in a genuinely
low-risk location — for example, a rural area or quiet suburb with very little traffic and no busy or
major roads nearby.
His Ideal Home
LaRusso would be happiest with someone who genuinely enjoys the Bengal personality, rather
than someone attracted only to his beautiful appearance.
Previous experience with Bengals would be wonderful, but it isn't essential. I would also
consider someone who understands the breed and has the time, enthusiasm and suitable home
environment for such an intelligent, active and affectionate cat.
A household where someone works from home or is around
He doesn't need constant attention, but he thrives on companionship, interaction and being
part of everyday life.
Health and Veterinary History
LaRusso is neutered, microchipped, up to date with his vaccinations and has been
health-checked by a vet.
He previously experienced some gastrointestinal (GI) issues, including an upset stomach and
vomiting. He received thorough veterinary treatment and has since made a full recovery.
Apart from this episode, he has had no other health issues whatsoever.
His pedigree documentation will accompany him to his new home.
What LaRusso Will Bring With Him
To help him settle into his new home, LaRusso will come with:
His cat carrier
His cat tree
Familiar toys
His blanket
His litter box
An initial supply of his usual food
An initial supply of cat litter
His pedigree documentation
These familiar belongings will help make the move as comfortable as possible for him.
Why Am I Rehoming Him?
I am rehoming LaRusso solely because of a significant change in my personal circumstances.
This is an extremely difficult decision, especially as I have raised him since he was just four
weeks old and have been his sole owner.
Finding the right permanent home for him is my priority.
Rehoming Fee – £150
Snow Bengals are relatively rare and can be quite expensive. However, the £150 rehoming fee
I'm asking for LaRusso is really just a token amount, significantly less than what I originally
paid for him.
My reason for keeping the fee low is simple: I want LaRusso to be accessible to a wider range
of loving homes. I'm not trying to make money from rehoming him or recover what I originally
paid.
A person's capacity to love and care for a pet is not determined by how much money
they can afford to spend on acquiring one. I don't believe that the price of a pedigree cat should necessarily put a wonderful, loving home out of reach.
At the same time, I have included a modest fee to discourage casual enquiries from people who may be attracted to the beauty or prestige of the breed without fully appreciating the long-term
commitment involved.
Above all, I want LaRusso to go to someone who genuinely understands his needs and is willing and able to give him the love, attention, care and companionship he deserves.
Collection – Harrow, London
Collection only from Harrow, London.
LaRusso will need to be collected in person by his new owner. His cat carrier will be provided.
Interested in Giving LaRusso a Loving Home?
If you think LaRusso might be right for you, I would love to hear a little about:
Your household and who lives with you
Your usual working pattern and how much time someone is at home
Your experience with cats, particularly Bengals
Any other pets you have
Whether you own or rent your home
The outdoor environment and level of companionship you could offer him
Above all, I am looking for someone who will love and appreciate LaRusso for exactly who he is:
an exceptionally affectionate, intelligent, entertaining and larger-than-life Bengal
