Hi, I’m looking to rehome my male rat, Wilfred.
I’m a new rat owner and originally bought what I was told were two males, but it turns out one was female and has unexpectedly had a litter of babies. Because of this, I’ve had to separate them, and I’m planning to keep the mum and one of her daughters.
Wilfred is a sweet but very shy boy. He’s not aggressive at all, just nervous, and would really benefit from a calm home with someone patient. Most importantly, he needs to be with other male rats, as I don’t want him to be lonely.
This has been a really difficult decision and I’m honestly very sad to let him go, but I want to do what’s best for him and make sure he has a happy, social life.
I’m looking for:
- A loving home with existing male rats (or someone planning to pair him properly)
- Someone patient who understands shy rats and will give him time to come out of his shell
