Lake completed his health testing before being made available at stud. ✅ Embark DNA Health Tested ✅ BVA Hip Score: 12 total – Left 6 / Right 6 ✅ BVA Eye Examination: Pass ✅ Gonioscopy: Grade 1 ✅ Semen/Fertility Assessment completed with an excellent first result Some of Lake’s Embark results include: 🧬 Blue Eye Colour (ALX4): DupDup 🧬 Long Coat (FGF5): LhLh 🧬 No Merle Alleles: mm 🧬 Coefficient of Inbreeding: 4% Full health-testing documentation can be made available to breeders considering Lake for their girl. Lake’s stud fee is £400. Depending on the female, timing and circumstances, we can offer: 🐾 Natural mating – up to two mating attempts during the agreed season, subject to the bitch being correctly timed and both dogs being fit and willing. 🐾 Artificial Insemination (AI) – fresh semen collection can be arranged for use by an appropriate canine fertility professional. 🐾 TCI (Transcervical Insemination) – Lake may also be available for semen collection for TCI where this is carried out by an appropriately qualified veterinary professional. 🩷 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BITCH Lake will only be available to suitable, appropriately health-tested bitches. Before agreeing to a mating, we will require evidence of the bitch’s relevant health and genetic testing so that we can consider whether the proposed pairing is suitable and responsible. The bitch must also be professionally tested/timed during her season to establish the optimum breeding dates. This may include progesterone testing or other appropriate fertility/timing testing. The health, welfare, genetics, temperament and compatibility of both dogs will always come first. 🚗 AI / TCI, TRAVEL & ADDITIONAL COSTS The £400 stud fee covers Lake’s stud service only. If AI or TCI requires Lake to travel to a veterinary practice, canine fertility clinic or other agreed professional facility, all reasonable travel expenses for taking Lake to and from the appointment are payable by the bitch’s owner in addition to the £400 stud fee. The bitch’s owner is also responsible for any additional costs associated with the breeding, including where applicable: • Progesterone/fertility testing and correct timing • Veterinary or fertility-clinic fees • Semen collection and assessment • AI or TCI procedure fees • Semen preparation, packaging or transportation • Pregnancy scanning • Any other veterinary or fertility costs relating to their bitch or the mating Any additional costs will be discussed and agreed before proceeding. 🐾 FREE RE-MATE Following the mating or insemination, we ask that the bitch has an appropriate pregnancy scan. If the scan confirms that she has not become pregnant, we offer one free re-mate on her next suitable season, subject to evidence of the unsuccessful pregnancy scan being provided. The free re-mate means that another £400 stud fee will not be charged. Any new expenses associated with the second attempt – including progesterone testing, AI/TCI, semen collection, fertility-clinic charges, travel expenses and pregnancy scanning – remain the responsibility of the bitch’s owner. The free re-mate is subject to Lake remaining healthy and available for stud and the bitch continuing to meet our health and breeding requirements. No natural mating, AI or TCI can guarantee a successful pregnancy or litter. 🐾 RESPONSIBLE BREEDING We are extremely proud of Lake and want every future pairing involving him to be carefully considered. Lake will not be available simply on a first-come, first-served basis.
