Waffle 🧇 DOB 09/04/2025 GCCF Registered Golden British Longhair with green eyes ✨ A special semi retirement home opportunity for an experienced local cat lover ✨ Waffles is an exceptional beautiful, sweet and gentle boy, imported by myself from Belgium for my breeding programme. He was very expensive, but so worth it. He has previously lived in a house and enjoys human company. An interest in showing cats would be an amazing bonus! I would love to hear from somebody who might enjoy showing Waffle, although this is not essential. With me being both a vet and a breeder, he is exceptionally health tested and a fantastic cat, who has so much to offer the British longhair breed. I looked all over the world before driving to Belgium to get him, he is a really special boy, who deserves the world. Unfortunately with all my girls, the life of a stud cat in a multi cat household is not always a fun one for the boys. With all that considered, with me cutting back on breeding to focus on my veterinary career, and a house move with cattery relocation. Rather than him being housed in another cattery set up, I am looking for somebody who can offer him a loving home while allowing him to remain part of my breeding programme until his retirement. I feel this would be in a single cat home, rather than my current set up. There would be no purchase price for Waffle. He would live with you as a much-loved companion. I would need access to him for approximately 4–6 pairings per year, for matings with my own girls only, until his planned breeding pairings will be completed over the next few years, then he will be castrated and stay as your baby. Ideally, you would live less than 30 minutes from Guildford, Surrey. His ideal home (if it e******************ist's maybe it doesn't and I just can't bare to not see him offer all he has to offer the breed): • Must have NO other cats, including no plans to introduce another cat during the arrangement. • Must be a quiet and calm home, ideally with no young children • An experienced cat owner who can read cat behaviour and understands the practicalities of keeping an unneutered male. • A secure indoor-only home, potentially with a safely enclosed catio. • Plenty of human companionship, affection and regular grooming. • Ideally less than 30 minutes from Guildford, Surrey • Someone reliable, communicative and happy to work closely with me. • Someone with experience in animal care, veterinary care and pet insurance. And someone who enjoys taking lovely photos would be perfect. I would really appreciate regular photographs and updates to check in and to share on my cattery social media! 📸 Important considerations He would not be available at public stud, and no unauthorised matings would be permitted. You must also be willing to return Waffle to me if any issues arise or the arrangement is no longer suitable. He must never be sold, passed on or rehomed elsewhere. His welfare will always come first, and I would remain closely involved throughout, and remain his vet, responsible for his veterinary care. You would agree to keep him insured & everything would be discussed and agreed carefully. If you feel you could offer Waffle the right home, please message with your location, your experience with cats, details of your household, family members and any other pets. I am looking for someone who will love him as their own and enjoy being part of his life through both his incredible contribution to the breed and his retirement.
