Description
Teddy is a 9 month old cockapoo who we are having to rehome due to no fault of his own… he’s incredibly loving and very energetic and will make a phenomenal family dog with a bit more training. My partner and I have recently had changes to our work schedules so we are no longer able to give Teddy the time he needs to fully flourish.
He’s fully house trained, can be left for a long period of time with no messes or destruction, and is crate trained also (we have recently moved from him being in his crate the whole time we’re out to him now having free roam of the kitchen and living room).
He loves his walks and wants to say hi to everyone and every dog he meets. He is absolutely fine with other dogs and is also good with children (currently lives with a 4 year old).
Teddy loves his natural treats and is very motivated by food. He’s currently on a mixture of wet and dry food mixed together which he eats at his own pace, but does eventually finish everything.
He goes to the groomers every couple of months and is generally good whilst there, however does need to be muzzled when it comes to grooming his legs and around his face as he isn’t a fan of that. He does however love having a bath.
His off lead recall is good and he will come back, especially when treats are involved. He does however tend to run off once the lead comes out to put him back on it, and he thinks it’s a game so getting him back on the lead can be a challenge at times.
He does not really like travelling in a car unless he is able to have physical contact with you. He does settle eventually but does whine.
All in all, Teddy is a really good boy who just needs a family that will have the time to walk him regularly and will take the time to meet his training needs. He will make an amazing family dog and he deserves a family that can spoil him, because he will spoil them with love.
All the food and treats we currently have will be included, as well as his crate, bowls, leads, collars, harnesses, toys and vet records.
