Description
This is teal, she recently lost her mate and I unfortunately don’t have the time for her anymore. She is amazing with children, she’s very quiet and very friendly. Shes hand reared and loooves her cuddles!!! She loves her bath time and sitting by the window.
She had laid eggs before but unfortunately she destroyed the eggs before they had any chance of hatching. She likes other birds. She’s been with her mate for the past 2 years. She’s 3 years old.
She comes with her cage, toys and bowls. She also loves chewing up cardboard. Any old cereal boxes, don’t worry about sticking them in the bin, teal would love to tear them up for you!!
She loves her fruit and her seeds.
I know it’s a big ask but for the first couple of weeks i would love to get some photos of her just to make sure she’s gone to a good home. She’s been around other birds (cocktails and budgies) she’s absolutely fine with them but i wouldn’t put her in the same cage as she can be quick!!
She’s easy to put away, just one call for “Teal” and she’ll come running out and you can just pick her up.
I always give her a cuddle and a head rub before putting her back, if I don’t she can get moody 😂
She’s never bitten anyone and like I say, she’s been around children. She’s always got my 6 year old around her.
