Description
A beautiful and carefully bred litter of teckel puppies, combining proven working ability with excellent family temperaments.
Mum is our much-loved family pet, a miniature dachshund; chocolate dapple, smooth coat, DCKC registered. She has a wonderful, gentle nature and will be seen with the puppies.
Dad – TOTALFOX BUCHA - is our working teckel, used in deer stalking and vermin control. He is KC registered, standard size with a slight wire coat (wild boar colour). He is our gamekeeper’s dog, with strong working lines. His parents are imported working dogs from Serbia and Ukraine. He will also available to be seen with the puppies.
Puppies – 5 boys, 1 girl
* Red boy with slight dapple markings – largest in the litter, expected to be standard size
* Chocolate & tan boy – one of the bigger puppies, likely standard size (smooth coat)
* Wild boar girl – smooth coat, expected to be larger than a miniature
* Three silver dapple boys – smaller type, more like mum (miniature size), one wire-haired
Puppies are being raised in the home with children and plenty of daily activity, ensuring they are confident, well-socialised, and used to a busy environment.
They have been:
* Weaned onto raw chicken and tripe
* Wormed regularly
* Flea treated
* Microchipped
* Health checked
* Given their first vaccinations
* Introduced to toilet/pad training
Both parents live with us and will be seen with the puppies. These are gamekeeper’s dogs, bred with purpose but equally suited to loving family homes.
As the puppies develop, we will begin to assess individual personalities and can guide on suitability for working or pet homes; however, all have the potential to do both.
They have been extremely well cared for and are a very special litter to us, so homes will be chosen carefully.
A deposit will be required to secure a puppy.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
