Description
Coco is our beloved F1 Pomsky. Lived with us since leaving breeder as a puppy and met with her mum. Personality of a miniature husky. I have a small baby and health issues and Coco is no longer getting the exercise and life that she needs and deserves. We have another Pomsky who is an F4 and has more the personality of a Pomeranian. They no longer get along and Coco now needs a home without other dogs and where she can be walked more than once a day and with a bigger garden.
Coco is reactive to most other dogs on walks after she was attacked by a spaniel that was off its lead as a puppy. Coco ironically does not react to other dogs at the vets or at the groomers. Coco would be suitable to a home with older children, she has shown no aggression to the baby and is good with my older children. But I think a household with young children would only be suitable for owners that are experienced with a husky breed. As Coco is a miniature Husky in personality.
Coco is very loving and cuddly. She is crate trained and house trained. She absolutely loves people and is very submissive. She is only used to being downstairs and sleeping downstairs in our house as I do not allow my dogs upstairs. My older children are devastated at the thought of Coco leaving, but Coco deserves a home that can give her all the exercise and attention she needs and deserves. There have been lots of tears from my daughter who is terrified about Coco being mistreated in her new home and about Coco forgetting about her. But I have to do what’s best for Coco and unfortunately for us that is finding her the best home for her.
Coco needs an experienced patient owner who can walk a reactive dog, as she may be small but she is very strong. She is living with 2 house Bengal cats who she tolerates and likes to play with. But she does like to bark at and attempt to chase cats that aren’t hers when on a walk. So I’m not sure she would suit a house with other people’s cats.
