Meet Peanut & Cashew!
14weeks old
Two lovely natured male rats and full set up with additional hammocks, treats, food and litter available along with cage that we have only had for a month. Both rats are tame, Peanut who isn't overly keen on being handled and is on his terms but loves to climb and explore, loves a tickle behind the ears and will take food and treats from you no bother. He is playfull again when on his terms a very sweet rat if nervous he will sometimes allow to be snuggled. Cashew is a people rat loves to be with you, greets you at the cage doors as soon as he knows you are there. Loves hoodies and climbing up on your shoulders, LOVES FOOD! Playfull enjoys cat toys, steals anything he can from you and has now started to recognise his name when called.
We have had them a little over a month however my daughter is immuno supressed and is having issues with them being in her room due to dust ect. We did not come across information that it is not recommended to have rats with those who are immuno compromised during researching rat ownership and have since found this out. We adore them and they are very much loved, so a good knowledgable, loving home only for these boys. I have had other rat keeper say they would make lovely show rats. No health issues.
