(the litter was 7 kittens but we have sold one before this advert).
6 Beautiful litter of kittens ready for GOOD homes. They are now 10 weeks old.
Out of the 6 kittens, we have:
• 4 pure black kittens (one has a small white patch on its chest) and also have ghost tabby markings.
• 2 black and white kittens, both almost identical with unique facial markings.
They are fed mainly dry food with a small amount of wet food. What you choose to feed them going
forward is entirely up to you, but I can provide details of their current diet if required.
I will be taking deposits, mainly because of the number of time wasters I have dealt with in the past. With previous litters, I received around 50 messages in half a day, with nearly 90% proving to be
time wasters, which not only took up my time but also delayed the kittens from finding genuine, loving homes. I have even had people leave deposits and then disappear completely. Taking
deposits also helps ensure that enquiries are genuine and that serious buyers have a fair opportunity to reserve a kitten.
Therefore, if you are interested in a particular kitten, you are welcome to ask questions, but a
deposit will be required to secure your chosen kitten. I will happily refund the deposit if, after
viewing the kitten, you are not happy for any genuine reason. However, I have to be strict with this
policy to prevent my time, and more importantly the kittens' opportunities for good homes, from
being wasted.
That said, we are a very animal-loving family. We have a one-and-a-half-year-old black Labrador
who absolutely loves the kittens, and they love him too, so they are well accustomed to being
around dogs.
The kittens are strictly indoor cats and have never been outside. They have been fully litter trained since around 4 weeks old. They are healthy, energetic, mischievous, affectionate, sleepy, placid,
and incredibly entertaining to watch. I definitely have my favourites, but I won't let that show!
It is a shame to see them go because they all enjoy each other's company so much, but keeping them would mean having nine cats in the house alongside a crazy Labrador, which simply isn't
practical!
Please understand that I am very aware of spam and time-wasting messages, so please read the
following carefully:
• Kittens must be viewed with their mother present.
• I will not deliver kittens to potential buyers.
• I will not give any kittens away for free. The price is the price.
• The kittens have not been health checked, microchipped, vaccinated, or neutered. They have been wormed and fleaed. If you require a kitten with additional veterinary treatments already completed,please understand that such kittens are usually sold at a much higher price. It will be the responsibility of the new owner to arrange any further procedures.
• Deposits will not be refunded where it is clear that someone has been dishonest, has wasted my
time, or has prevented genuine buyers from securing a kitten to a good home.
• Deposits will be refunded for genuine reasons, such as viewing the kitten and deciding it is not suitable for you.
Please only get in touch if you have read and understood the advert. Unfortunately, due to previous
experiences with time wasters and scammers, messages that clearly ignore the information provided will not receive a response.
I dislike having to include all of this because I do not want to come across as rude or arrogant.
However, everything stated above is in the best interests of the kittens and is intended to help them
find safe, loving, and permanent homes. I believe these are the sort of standards that responsible buyers would expect and appreciate, as they demonstrate that the kittens' welfare is the priority.
I would also like to add that if this is your first time owning a kitten, or if you have limited experience, please be aware that it can take several days, and sometimes longer, for a kitten to fully settle into a new home.
Before purchasing, please ensure you have the essentials ready, including suitable space, toys, bedding, food, food/water bowls, and a litter tray. This will help make the transition as
smooth as possible.
Please remember that these kittens have only ever known the environment they were raised in, along with their mother and littermates. Moving to a new home is a big change for them, so it is
important to be patient and give them the time and space they need to adjust.
Every kitten is different; some settle almost immediately, while others may take a little longer to build confidence.
If you experience any issues while your kitten is settling in, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to offer advice and assistance. In most cases, with patience, routine, and plenty of
reassurance, they soon become comfortable and will quickly see you as part of their family.
I am still in touch with buyers from previous litters, and many kindly keep me updated with photos
and news of how their cats are getting on. While this is not a requirement, I would genuinely appreciate the occasional update if possible.
We are a very friendly family and look forward to welcoming you into our animal-mad house!
Finally, this is our fourth litter over the course of several years, and we have never experienced any issues with rehoming our kittens. You can be assured that these kittens have received round-the-clock care, attention, and affection from the day they were born—which now feels like a long time ago!
We will be very sad to see them leave, as they have become a huge part of our daily lives, but we also know they will be going to loving families and wonderful new homes where they can continue to thrive.
