Paloma is a loving harlequin macaw, she is DNA sexed female and the price includes everything we own for her. This includes cage and all toys/accessories, food/vitamins and all paperwork.
The reason we have made the difficult decision to sell her is due to now having 3 young children we genuinely don’t have the time that she deserves.
We had plans to teach her to free fly and she has been outside on several occasions and does enjoy being outside but so far she has only stayed perched on our hand/shoulder and hasn’t flown.
We bought her from her original breeder in 2023 where she was hand reared.
Since then Paloma has learnt several words, including hello, shh, good girl, and some family names, she whistles in a couple of different sounds including the occasional wolf whistle, she also says and loves to play peek a boo.
Paloma is a happy girl who would better suit somebody who is able to offer her the time she deserves. She thrives from and loves attention and will do anything for her favourite food pistachio nuts and so would be very easily further trained.
She currently has a diet of daily fresh fruit and veg. A mix of Nutribird P15 tropical and Nutribird original pellets and a handful of a wide variety of different nuts daily.
