Its with a heavy heart i am having to rehome my beautiful conures. We have Heihei a 6month old sun conure, dna’d male. And Mikey approximately 18month old jenday conure. Mikey has not been dna tested but we were told he is male. We unfortunately do not have the time to give them that they need and they do not get along with our african grey so we are juggling free time outside of the cage which is unfair for them all as they all enjoy being outside. I will not separate them and would like them to go to a new home together as they are bonded and the best of friends. Heihei will come and sit on you to see what you are up to and take treats from you. He can do tricks such as “spin” and “wave”. Mikey is inquisitive and will take treats from you. Both have been practising recall and will work for their fave treats (nuts). My daughters aged 7 and 8 have been helping with recall training and the birds go to them, especially Heihei who loves to sit on their heads. They are both on a healthy diet of pellets and some seeds throughout the day. Fresh chop, a little fruit and sprouted seeds for breakfast. They will come with a large cage and some accessories. I will only consider the best home for my little guys as they are much loved and this has been a very difficult decision for us. Ideally someone with experience and time to let them be free as this is when they are happiest. I would love updates on how they are getting on in their new home. £1500 for both with cage, no offers. Can deliver locally for cost of fuel. You will need your own bird carrier.
