Description
We are looking for a new home for our female ragdoll/mix kitten;
Her name is Penny (as well as Penelope, Pusspuss, Penny Pigtails, Pennywise, you name it and she’s probably heard it!). She’s around 5 months old (D.O.B. 07/Jan/06) and came to us straight from her mother.
She’s both affectionate and playful; She loves to be around you, sleep next to you and on you. She will play with practically anything and is very polite in that she won’t attack hands and feet but rather put her claws away and ‘tap’ or sit and wait for you to move it. It’s quite sweet! She can love a good brush and will roll over and lift her head to brush her underside. If she’s not in the mood, she’ll just sit elsewhere. She also loves to sit on the windowsill and chatter at the birds and occasionally catch flies.
She has a really good temperament, hasn’t shown favouritism between me or my partner, is a lone pet in a household with no children but did come from a home with other pets and a toddler. I honestly don’t believe she would have an issue with any circumstance as she’s so easy going and willing to check out anything.
She’s not a fussy eater (currently eating Aldi and Tesco own brand food) and drinks well. Food routine consists of dry biscuit for grazing and wet meat between 4-6pm. She also loves treats. Litter habits are also impeccable! She has a lidded tray that she’ll use with the lid on or off. It’s filled with clumping clay litter. She covers every time, is clean and we’ve not had one accident. With her being a ragdoll, she does like a deep tray as this stops her getting pee on her fur.
She is such a lovely cat and we are not happy at all about having to rehome her but due to health issues it’s not feasible to keep her.
She is yet to have a vet visit but is otherwise healthy, eating well, wormed and has regular litter use. She will have with her her carrier, litter tray, bowls and mat, worm treatment, brushes, toys, a blanket to help her with the transition and any consumables that are left.
