We are looking for a permanent loving family for Ruby that are in need of a mature companion.
Ruby loves cuddles, walks and everything else that entertains her.
She’s young, fit and has a lovely sweet nature.
She’s house trained, great on a lead, great recall especially if you can whistle. Usually not needed as she likes to stay with you when walking.
We are a licensed breeder and have a reasonable amount of dogs. As Ruby has matured she’s trying to take over the girls, specifically two of our 10 year olds. By no means is she a nasty dog, she’s very social with other dogs out and about plus within our group.
The two older girls mentioned have been spayed which after some reading might be the cause.
We are looking for a patient family that can give her a permanent loving home with the time needed for her to settle in.
Obviously she is an adult dog that has got use to our routine.
We would expect that the family we accept for Ruby will visit her at least 3 times before she leaves so please bare this in mind as the distance might be a problem for you.
Her current diet is cooked meat, veg and rice, not so much biscuits but she does generally like all food.
We are looking for a companion home only, she has never been bred and is unsuitable for breeding.
Both her parents are DNA clear for all dog diseases with low hip scores and clear eye tests however at 7 months old Ruby became borderline entropion. This resulted in a small correction on both her lower eyelids that resolved the issue.
We’ve been selfishly holding back on looking for Ruby’s new home and she will be 3 years old in November.
The clash with our other 2 dogs at times can be restricting for all three of them.
We like them to be free to mingle so we have to be realistic hence this advert.
Ruby would be best suited to either a home with another dog or with a family that could spend most of the day with her or close by.
She’s not vocal and we leave the dogs at home when we go out but she’s always been with at least another dog.
