Description

Meet Tinsel, a beautiful 14-week-old Shi Chi puppy. I know her name doesn’t suit her but that's half the fun lol!?! Tinsel is a crazy mix between a Shih Tzu and a Chihuahua resulting in the most gorgeous little puppy with the colouring of a red squirrel and one completely white sock on her paw. There may even be a little french bulldog in the mix somewhere down the line too. She is the most loving and playful little puppy who loves nothing more than following you around, cuddling on your lap or playing ball in the garden. She’s also very partial to a treat or three and is always hopeful if she hears the rustling of a packet. She's only 14 weeks old so her training is ongoing, but she is super intelligent, so she picks things up really quickly. She’s mainly toilet trained but does still have occasional accidents now and again. Luckily, she makes it obvious when she needs to go to the toilet, so she can be redirected outside if you spot her clues early enough. Tinsel sleeps in a crate at night but prefers to use a dog bed for naps during the day. She sleeps through the night from about 2230 to 0700 without any waking or toilet trips. I only got her a couple of weeks ago and she has settled in so well with all the family. My children are teenagers, and she is very kind and loving with them and they bonded with her almost instantly due to her soft nature and liking for belly rubs. Unfortunately, I have had some bad news about my health and now I no longer feel I can offer Tinsel the time and love she deserves. She is micro chipped and up to date with her worming and flea treatments. When I collected her from the original seller her vaccinations had been left to go overdue so unfortunately, she will need to start again with her vaccination programme. I have not been unable to arrange this due to the decline in my health. Tinsel has been vet checked and has a very small umbilical hernia. This is causing her no problems at all but, it will need sorting in the future. The vet recommended it to be repaired at the same time as arranging her spaying, and it would cost an additional £60.00 on top of the cost of neutering. I want her to go to her happy forever home as she is such a special little girl, and she has stolen my heart. I can provide her crate, play pen, bed and toys if that would be helpful to ensure she settles in quickly with her new family. I will be absolutely gutted to let her go but, I know it will be easier for her in the long run if she moves on while she is still so young. Please just ask if you have any questions and thank you for looking.
