Description

❤️ LIBBY IS SIX YEARS OLD AND STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME ❤️ 📍 Currently in foster in DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY, SCOTLAND. We're sharing Libby on behalf of Helping Dogs in Romania, a smaller rescue that would love to find this beautiful girl her happy ending. If you're interested in Libby, please send us a private message with your name, telephone number and a little about your experience with dogs. We'll pass your details on to the rescue, who will take things forward directly. Imagine being left chained up in a field because someone decided you were no longer useful. That was Libby's life in Romania. But thankfully, that isn't where her story ended. Libby is now safe in foster care in Scotland, and the dog she's become is a wonderful reminder that an animal's past doesn't have to define their future. She's a beautiful six-year-old Mioritic Shepherd, an intelligent, loyal and affectionate girl with so much personality. Libby loves to play, enjoys her walks and is good on the lead. She's also very responsive to instructions and clearly enjoys engaging with people. She's friendly, clever and has all the makings of a wonderful companion for someone who understands and appreciates this lovely breed. And despite everything she's been through, Libby still has so much love to give. 🐾 A little more about Libby: She's six years old and a Romanian Mioritic Shepherd. She's good with other dogs, but isn't suitable for a home with cats or other small furry animals. As a shepherd breed, Libby would benefit from a home with someone who understands larger, intelligent dogs and can give her the exercise, companionship and stimulation she needs. A home check will be required as part of the adoption process. Libby has already spent far too much of her life waiting for someone to see her worth. She doesn't need to be useful to anyone. She doesn't need to earn her place. She just needs a family who will love her for the wonderful dog she is. Somewhere out there is a home where Libby will never again have to wonder whether she's wanted. We'd love to help her find it. ❤️
