Description
Beautiful six-month-old Labrador looking for a loving active forever home.
This has been a very difficult decision, but due to ongoing health issues within our family we can no longer give her the level of exercise, time, and attention she deserves as a young Labrador (not spayed) .
She is a beautiful, affectionate, intelligent girl with a lovely temperament. She is calm in the home and very quiet, and she does not bark at all, she may bark at other dogs buts that’s usually if they bark first. She settles well in her crate and is used to a predictable routine, including sleeping through the night from around ten pm to six am.
She has had a strong foundation of training and has been well cared for. She knows basic commands such as sit, stay, slow down, left/right paw, wait, and enjoys learning and thrives on stimulation and loves cuddles and belly rubs. She responds well to gentle training and enjoys enrichment toys and puzzles. She is still young and will need continued consistency, exercise, and guidance as she grows.
She is toilet trained and very clean in the home. She does not toilet in her crate and is used to going outside on a routine. As with any young dog moving into a new environment, she may need a short adjustment period and regular trips outside while she settles into a new routine. We also have washable toilet training mats available if needed and crate with play pen included.
She is vaccinated, wormed, and up to date with all health care. She comes with her toys, crate, toys, blanket, and belongings to help her settle into her new home.
She was originally being prepared with therapy dog potential in mind, so she has been well socialised and used to being handled and living in a calm home environment. Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed and we are no longer able to continue that path for her, so we want her to have the chance to reach her full potential in the right home.
She is a loving, friendly dog who will suit an active home that can give her time, stimulation, and consistency. She would thrive with someone who understands the Labrador breed and enjoys training and outdoor life.
We are looking for a responsible, caring home only. A rehoming fee (£1100) will apply to ensure she goes to a committed and suitable family.
