We are looking for a very special, experienced home for Hades, our 3-year-old German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois. This is a difficult decision due to a change in personal circumstances (pregnancy), and we want to ensure he goes to the right person who can give him the time and handling he deserves.
Hades is a loving, loyal, and people-focused dog. He is fantastic with humans and thrives on attention – your typical shepherd temperament, always wanting to be close to you and involved in everything you do. He has a big personality and so much love to give.
He is a high-energy dog who will need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. He enjoys being active and would suit someone with a lifestyle to match – ideally an experienced owner who understands working breeds.

Things to be aware of:
* Can be strong on the lead and does pull, so will need continued training
* Has had reactivity to other dogs in the past, particularly males entering his space – this has improved significantly with training, but will need ongoing management
* Would be best suited as the only pet in the home so he can have full attention
* Needs an experienced, confident handler
Hades has come a long way with his training and just needs someone committed to continuing that work. He is incredibly rewarding, intelligent, and loyal, but he is not a beginner’s dog.
We are looking for a home where he will get one-on-one time, structure, and plenty of stimulation. This is not a first-come, first-served situation – finding the right match is the priority.
