5 year old pointer/ lab x Prince has been patiently waiting for his forever home for an awfully long time! He's spent the last 4 years in rescue in Cyprus, hoping for someone to pick him.
He is a real sweetheart, friendly with strangers, good to travel, very smart & food and toy motivated! Prince used to be a bundle of energy, but has slowed down a bit over his years in rescue. He loves to play and squeaky toys are his favourite things (squeaky pigs to be exact!).
He never destroys his toys, but will spend as long as you let him throwing his toys about and putting on an entertaining show.
He will need someone willing to help him learn to settle into a home again after spending so long in kennels.
Prince wears a harness well and walks beautifully on a lead. He's confident in new walking spaces and has walked past people, bikes and vehicles with no concerns.
Prince can be a cuddly boy once he knows you and once he's had some time to throw toys around. He enjoys a bum scratch and might get the zoomies from it!
He hasn't had the opportunity to meet many dogs so will need some understanding in this area. He has previously been a bit mouthy with them, but has also been able to walk fine with another dog who didn't want to interact with him and snapped at him.
Prince has been in rescue far too long, probably because he is black and not a small dog. But he is so sweet and has so much to offer.
Prince has previously been a bit mouthy when over excited so because of this and his size/ bouncy nature, he'd prefer an adult only home.
