Meet Wanzi: Our Perfect British Shorthair Gentleman
It is with a deeply heavy heart that we are looking for a new "forever home" for our beloved Wanzi. He is a stunning, purebred British Shorthair with a temperament that can only be described as "the perfect gentleman." Everyone who meets him falls in love with him instantly, and he has been a cherished member of our family.
Why We are Rehoming
We are relocating to a country with an very hot climate and, unfortunately, our new home will be a small apartment without a garden. Wanzi has grown accustomed to his life in the UK, where he enjoys the freedom and fresh air of a garden. We feel it would be unfair to confine him to a small, hot indoor space after the life he has enjoyed here. His happiness is our priority, which is why we want to find him a home where he can continue to thrive.
Personality & Lifestyle
Wanzi is incredibly affectionate and friendly. If you are watching TV, expect him to hop onto your lap or settle on your tummy, purring loudly to show his contentment. He has a wonderful temperament and is exceptionally patient; he has been amazing with our children and is a very stable, gentle soul.
While he hasn’t lived with a dog, he has encountered our neighbour’s dog and was perfectly calm - there were no fights, though we aren't sure how he would feel living with one full-time.
What Wanzi Needs (Our Requirements)
Because we love him so much, we are being very selective about his next home. We are looking for:
• A Long-term UK Resident: Someone who is committed to staying in the UK so Wanzi never has to face a stressful relocation again.
• A Safe Garden: A home with a garden that is not adjacent to a busy main road.
• Cat Experience: Someone who understands and loves the British Shorthair breed.
• A Loving Family: A household that will appreciate his cuddles and give him the attention he deserves.
Health & Fee
Wanzi is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. We are asking for a £500 rehoming fee. This is not about the money; it is a vital step for us to ensure his new owners are serious, financially stable, and committed to his long-term care (including insurance and quality vet care).
