Description
Our family has had Chanel for three years, since she was 8weeks old. Shes a lovely cat, independent but will meow at you to communicate which is so lovely. She does often let me know when she wants attention and stroking. She’s very independent and is often out a lot and comes home for food, drink and love.
She was actually bought for my eldest daughter to help with her anxiety and this is not a decision we have made easily. The reason for rehoming her is because we have family commitments which means we often have to find someone or somewhere to leave her when we are away. I don’t think it’s fair on her because she probably doesn’t understand this. To add in we have recently found out my youngest is also allergic to cats.
We also have a two year old frenchie. Who wants to play with her and she has no interest in this and I feel like she needs to be in a home where she’s the only pet with someone or a family who can give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is well looked after, up to date with everything she needs health wise, she has been microchipped and she has also been neutered.
She is on a mix of wet and dry food and loves a treat. She is a vocal cat and will react to certain words she’s learnt such as her name ‘Chanel’ and ‘treat’ or ‘food’. She doesn’t even have a litter tray she goes outside when needed, she is good.
I feel really bad at this and I know my two girls do too but I’ve tried to look at the bigger picture of her not having a dog trying to run at her which she must hate even though he’s only playing she doesn’t like this.
Also I want her to go to someone who can give her the time more than I have. As soon as I get home, she hears me come in and comes in the back from outside and meows at me for attention.
I don’t know what else to tell you in this post but I guess I just want the right person/family to adopt her.
I will include her things such as bowl, food, and any medicines etc. Again because of our young French bulldog. She didn’t use the cat tree we got her because it was in the lounge and she didn’t want to walk pass him and be noticed, bless her. So I ended up getting rid of it last year. But it’s probably something she would use if there was nothing stopping her from doing so.
I’m new to this as never done this before so please any questions get in touch.
