Our beautiful girl Trouble has had pups, 7 of them to be exact.
Please don’t let the name put you off it’s just that she was our first ever dog and we were ever so slightly apprehensive. 😂
We needn’t have been as she is the most gorgeous, loyal friend and companion we could ever have had and our lives have been enriched beyond anything we could ever have imagined. She is very smart, super friendly with people, children and other dogs and every day is her happiest day ever, her tail is always wagging.
So a long term plan was hatched, let Trouble have a litter of pups not too soon but when she was ready (she has just turned 4 now). This way we could keep at least one pup, they would be the best company for Trouble on the odd occasion we had to go out without her and all can have a lot of fun together.
This would also, of course, keep Troubles legacy going.
Now without blowing our own trumpet we like to think she has a pretty good life, we are fairly rural so, good long field walks every day and very often Clumber park and a few times a year holidays to the Lake District & mountain's.
She’s the fittest healthiest dog you could imagine, she runs and runs, she thinks she’s a working cocker (she’s not, she’s a show cocker) but chasing squirrels and flushing out pheasants is what she does best, she may have even caught the odd one but don’t tell the gamekeeper 😉 .
Trouble is also a really great swimmer lakes, canals, the sea she loves it. I am sure it will also be in the puppies genes it’s so much fun!
We have always fed her a cooked meat and chicken, offal, veg etc diet, she eats what we eat. She will get the half a leg of lamb left over from dinner that type of thing.
So the pups will have had the absolute best start imaginable like having a mum who’s an Olympic athlete maybe😂
The pups Dad is Hershey, a vigorously health tested gorgeous chocolate roan sable cocker spaniel stud from nearby Simbawood Cocker Spaniels he is super friendly, has a lovely temperament, a true gent and together they have blessed us with 7 beauties.
The pups were born on January 14th and will be ready to leave from March 11th.
We have 5 pups available 3 boys and 2 girls, our expert friends at Simbawood tell us we have blue roan sable (M and F), red sable (F), gold (F), orange roan (M) and chocolate roan sable (M and F).
They are all being well socialised being in the hub of the house, hoovers the lot. Getting plenty of cuddles and interaction and accustomed to lots of noise from tvs to footfall and attention from all the family members.
They are virtually fully weaned and all doing great, being toilet trained with puppy pads and they sleep right through the night like a dream.
They will come microchipped and fully vaccinated, flea and worm treatments done, fully health checked with certificates from our great vets at Saxilby.
Our babies are looking for forever homes and without being condescending or rude, we would rather keep all 7 than one go to a bad home so only good people please 🙏 if that’s you please get in touch, viewings welcomed.
