Description

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. My boy is 5 years old. I'm hes first owner, he’s been my companion throughout hes life, and I love him deeply. He is a working dog; so he has high-energy, he needs physical and mental stimulation – long walks, runs, play, structure, and engagement every single day. (He loves ball, any ball, small/Big). I now have a newborn, and my responsibilities have shifted in a way that means he is no longer getting the time, attention, and consistency he truly deserves. I can see that this is affecting him, and it’s not fair to ask him to adapt to a life that doesn’t suit his needs. This decision is not being made lightly or out of convenience. I’ve gone above and beyond for him for nearly five years, but loving him also means being honest about what’s best for him long-term. Owner criteria checklist: - Forever owner - Owner with a structure that can provide that stimulation everyday - Indoor friendly house (Not used to being an outside dog). - Strong. My boy list of attributes: - Very obedient but needs that bond for authority. - Huge heart, can easily settle with anyone and most dogs once giving the chance but first contact with male dogs are not friendly. - Very dominant - Very strong - Eats raw and home cooked food - Friendly and walks off the leash but should be cautious during dark hours of the day as he becomes more protective. - 5 year old with a heart of a pup.
