The Manx, also known as Manks, Stubbin, Rumpy, is native to the Isle of Man, where it has always been highly regarded as an extremely good moult. The breed is quite unique in that the cats are born with short or no tails, which is a naturally occurring mutation. They also have a very distinctive gait, another feature that sets them apart from other breeds. The Manx is the national symbol of the island and has become a popular companion and family pet both in the UK and other parts of the world, thanks to its endearing nature and unique appearance.
