F1 Bernedoodles are a 50/50 mix of Bernese and Poodle, often with a wavy, minimal-shedding coat. F1b Bernedoodles, created by breeding an F1 with a Poodle, are typically around 75% Poodle and have curlier, more allergy-friendly coats. F1bb Bernedoodles (about 87.5% Poodle) are among the most hypoallergenic, with tight Poodle-like curls and very low shedding. F2b Bernedoodles, bred from an F1 and an F1b, are roughly 62.5% Poodle and 37.5% Bernese, offering a reliably low-shed, curly or wavy coat and excellent suitability for allergy sufferers.
