Over the years, Goldendoodles have become one of the most popular designer breeds, which is understandable given their good looks and charming, loyal nature. Available in three sizes—standard Goldendoodles (60-100 pounds), miniature Goldendoodles, and toy Goldendoodles—these intelligent dogs are friendly, eager to please, and highly trainable, making them excellent for first-time dog owners. Grooming needs vary by generation: F1 Goldendoodles require regular brushing and professional grooming, while F1B, F1BB, and Multigen varieties need daily brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to prevent matting in their curlier, low-shedding coats. With moderate to high energy levels requiring 30-60 minutes of daily exercise, Goldendoodles thrive in active families.
