The Jackapoo, also known as Jack-A-Doodle, Jackadoodle, Jackdoodle, Jackapoodle, Jack A Poo, Jack-A-Poodle, is a newcomer to the dog scene and is not currently recognised by any of the major international breed organisations, which includes the Kennel Club. They were developed by crossing a Poodle with a Jack Russell Terrier and as such, Jackapoos can inherit some of the traits and characteristics of their parent breed. However, it is a matter of luck how the puppies turn out, especially if it is the first generation.
