The Rhodesian Ridgeback, also known as African Lionhound, African Lion Dog, is a very distinctive looking dog with its crest on its back. In their native Zimbabwe they are highly regarded as excellent guard dogs, but over the years these handsome dogs have become popular in other parts of the world, including here in the UK, thanks to their striking appearance and loyal, friendly nature.
