Temperamentally, Lionhead rabbits are friendly, curious, and playful, making them excellent companions. They thrive on social interaction and benefit from early handling and socialisation. Suitable for indoor living in the UK, these rabbits need daily exercise and a rabbit-proofed space. Grooming, especially for double manes, is crucial to prevent matting and health issues like wool block. Their diet should include high-quality grass hay, pellets, and fresh greens. Overall, the Lionhead rabbit is a delightful pet, but potential owners should be prepared for its grooming needs and social nature.
