Meet Leah Totnes

My name is Leah, and I live with my family in Totnes, Devon. We are a loving, responsible family who care deeply about our animals and consider them part of the family. I have joined Pets4Homes because we sadly need to find a very special new home for our much-loved cat, Beast. This is not a decision we have made lightly, and it is certainly not because he is unwanted. Beast is loved enormously, which is why finding the right home matters so much to us. Unfortunately, Beast has seriously attacked our older male cat on more than one occasion. We have sought advice and tried different ways to manage the situation, but we cannot risk our older cat being injured again. We believe Beast will be much happier and more settled in a home where he is the only cat and does not have to share his territory. Beast is an affectionate, confident cat who loves people and enjoys being part of family life. He has a big personality, loves attention and enjoys safe outdoor access. We are looking for an experienced, caring home with no other cats and preferably a secure garden or safe outdoor space. We will be completely open and honest about Beast’s personality, history and needs. We are happy to answer questions, have a video call and introduce potential adopters to Beast. Before agreeing to rehome him, we would also like to visit the prospective home so we can see where he would be living and feel confident that it is safe and suitable. This is about finding Beast the right forever home, not simply the quickest available home. We would love to stay in occasional contact and receive updates, if his new family were comfortable with that. He means the world to us, and we want to know that he will be safe, loved and able to thrive as someone’s one and only feline companion.
