I'm a portrait artist who's had a love of animals all my life starting with my brother's pet rabbit named Thumper. I keep tropical fish and when my nephew's wife couldn't look after her Chocolate labrador Foley, I thought after a while that I could tick all the boxes. I've never looked back and I realised I couldn't live without a dog. Of course they don't live forever and when Foley passed I knew I'd need to replace her with another of the same breed. Like other owners, I have an affinity with my breed. Chocolate labradors have such a good nature. As my new dog Pepe approached two years, I thought I might give her a chance to reproduce. What a day sat 20th June was when eight little miracles came out in the sac.
