This is an incredibly difficult decision and one made with a heavy heart. Due to increased work commitments and not having the time Teddy truly deserves, I am looking to rehome him — this is absolutely no fault of his own.
Teddy is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu cross, full of personality and affection. He has grown up with my daughter since she was 2 years old and is fantastic with children. He is an energetic but very lovable boy who enjoys the best of both worlds — a good run around the fields followed by cuddles and chilling on the sofa.
He loves human company, is very affectionate, and thrives on attention. Teddy is crate trained, with only the occasional accident, and settles well. His recall isn’t the strongest, so he is usually kept on the lead when out, which is something his new home will need to continue working on.
Teddy is great with other dogs, having grown up around 7 other Shih Tzus within the family, and is very used to canine company. However, he is unsure around cats and does tend to bark at them if they pass the garden or while out on walks, so a cat-free home would be best. He was also castrated 27th September 2024.
Teddy would make a wonderful companion for an individual or family who can give him the time, love, and attention he deserves.
A small rehoming fee will apply to ensure he goes to a safe, responsible, and loving home.
