Two beautiful girls are still looking for their forever homes.
At AVERYSHORTHAIRS, our kittens are raised as part of our family, not simply bred and placed into homes. Every kitten receives an incredible amount of love, attention and care from the moment they are born, and we take great pride in ensuring they leave us happy, confident and well prepared for life with their new families.
Our kittens leave us at 13 weeks of age and are placed into loving indoor pet homes only.
🐾 Every AVERYSHORTHAIRS kitten leaves with:
• GCCF registration certificate
• 4–5 generation pedigree certificate
• Fully vaccinated, with no further vaccinations required until their one-year booster
• Microchipped
• Precautionary worm and flea treatment
• At least two veterinary health checks before leaving us
• Sold as GCCF NON-ACTIVE / pet only under contract and as neutered
• 4 weeks’ insurance

🤍 Raised in our family home
Our kittens are born and raised in our family home, where they receive daily handling, affection and individual attention.
As they grow, they are gradually introduced to our young children, our dog and the everyday sounds and experiences of a busy family home. Our aim is to give every kitten the best possible start and help them grow into confident, well-socialised companions.
Their mum will be one of our much-loved girls, all of whom live indoors with us as family pets. Their dad is our handsome stud boy, Bentley.
Both parents are GCCF registered and fully health tested. They are PKD negative and have been tested in relation to the British Shorthair autoimmune disease.

I am a GCCF registered breeder and hold my own GCCF prefix, AVERYSHORTHAIRS.

I am also Deputy Chair of Norfolk & Suffolk Cat Club and run a dedicated British Shorthair Facebook group.
My qualifications include:

• Cattery Management
• Feline Psychology & Behaviour
• Level 3 Feline Birthing, Breeding & Development
Breeding is something I am incredibly passionate about, and I believe choosing a kitten should be about far more than simply finding a pretty face. Health, temperament, early socialisation, responsible breeding and finding the right family for each kitten are all incredibly important to us.
Our kittens are raised with love, care and attention from the very beginning, and our support doesn’t end when your kitten leaves our home.

We take great care when choosing homes for our kittens, and finding the right match is incredibly important to us. We want to know that our girls are going to homes where they will be loved, cherished and considered a true member of the family for the rest of their lives.
Please don’t worry if you have never owned a British Shorthair before — experience isn’t everything. What matters to us is that you are prepared to provide a loving, safe and committed home and are willing to learn.
We are always happy to answer questions and have an open conversation with prospective families. 🤍
