This is a very hard advert to write, im not even sure it’s the right route for our dog, but she is a ten year old French bulldog, with health problems, last year she was diagnosed with cancer grade 3.The lump was removed and she lived happily since, we did choose to let her have the rest of her years, or however long she has medication free and we would decide when the time was right for her if it returned, but She’s been ok since, she also has chronic ear allergy’s and has polyps in her ears from repeated ear infections, she’s been the vet’s multiple times regarding them and was on steroids for a bit but cannot be on the long term due to the risk of damaging organs, and the antibiotics only work temporarily, we are trying to manage the ears with only feeding her a poultry free diet, and she loves fish, we do think her hearing has been affected, the reason for this ad is we cannot give her the time and dedication she needs any longer, I started a new job where I work long hours and my Husband works away a lot, it’s not fair in her older age that she is left alone so long, she’s a good dog, brought up with our 4 children, not one bad bone in her body, she doesn’t like long walks, she’s an older girl now and struggles, but she will still chase a ball around, ideally I think she would suit someone older who are home all the time and can give her the care and attention we can no longer give her, she needs a retirement home for her senior years, please only enquire if you can give our dog the best last however long she has left.
