Description
'Woody' my 9 month old castrated Cockerpoo needs to be rehomed, I made a huge mistake in getting a puppy at my age (69yrs) he needs a loving family who have much more energy, training skills and patience than me. He is very loving but has mad moments. He's still mouthing and likes to chase your feet but he doesn't do this so much now indoors but more in the garden. He was castrated on 9th February but it doesn't seem to have calmed him down, yet, anyway. He definitely needs some intense training in some areas like the feet chasing in the garden, walking nicely on the lead, barking at the window etc and mouthing. He loves food and will eat anything he can get hold of. He's a handful and wants a lot of attention so, needs lots of exercise every day. He's completely house trained and he's trained to press a floor button to announce "open the door" he's not very well socialised and is a little worried by other dogs. All these negative things can be rectified by the right family or person but, sadly it's not me. I want him to have a better home where he will thrive. He sleeps next to my bed on the floor, in his bed but, likes to get in with me for cuddles and dozing in the early hours and expects his breakfast at 6.30am. I really hope he can find his person/family that matches his energy level. I think older children would be good also an older calmer dog to show him the way maybe. Please only reply if you can offer him these things as he's so lovely, he deserves it. He travels fine in the car. He can go at anytime.
