I am having to rehome Stevie, our nine month old miniature Dachsund, due to family breakdown and needing to move to a flat where I cannot take two dogs. Stevie is a family pet she is typical sausage dog temperament. She is amazing with my two teenagers and younger children. She can be aloof and weary of men but has never shown aggression, just the usual sausage dog bark! She’s very loyal and just wants her people to fuss over her and cuddle her so would suit being a lone dog with an owner who can give her all the time and attention she craves. She is crate trained to sleep at night but will also be happy curled up in bed under the duvet. She does go to the toilet outside but will have the odd accident in the house so we use puppy pads here and there that she does use. She’s very clever and with the right time and training she will be an amazing dog. Stevie loves a walk and goes on an extendable lead and harness and she is shy and weary of other dogs until she can suss them out and then she will play for hours. Stevie needs time and attention she is a people dog who needs human interaction and love. She will not go to someone who hasn’t had Dachsunds before they are very needy of human time and attention and are incredibly loyal and affectionate. She is nine months old and unspayed as she hasn’t had her first season as yet. She will come with two months flea and worm tablets, crate, blankets, harness and lead, shampoo (she loves a warm bath).
