we unfortunately have come to the decision to try and rehome our girl due to not having the time to give her the stimulation she requires, she’s isn’t hugely socialised with other dogs due to being told by our trainer not too (big mistake by us) She’s not great on lead walks, very hyperfixated on everything when out, just wants to say hello to everything & everyone
She’s a slight thief in the house, will take cuddly toys Tupperware tea towels but I’m assuming it’s because she’s bored due to not getting the right amount of stimulation. Shes been brought up with our child & our other older dog and she adores them both, sadly our other dog has struggled for awhile to get along with her & doesn’t like her playful needy side that comes with being young & a Doberman so sadly has factored into this rehoming, we unfortunately do not have the space to accommodate both their needs separately
She’s a typical bouncy Velcro Doberman so please keep that in mind
She pulls slightly on the lead & does hyperfixate on dogs during walks but nothing that’s not fixable or manageable, her recall isn’t the best probably due to lack of training with it but again she’d easily pick it up, she’s insanely smart
She is crate trained and currently sleeps in it over night & when left alone
She’s an incredibly loving affectionate dog, she’d love nothing more than evening cuddles until bed time.
She does have a very fussy stomach, we’ve narrowed it down and think she’s allergic chicken beef turkey & seems to function best of grain free food, haven’t tried lamb as she’s currently on a salmon kibble, as she’s a blue she hasn’t got the thickest hair and it’s quite common for them to lose their hair at some point in their life She’s a beautiful girl & it’s devastating having to rehome but she deserves the best life and to get everything she needs, She’d benefit going to someone with lots of time to put into her, ideally to strip back to basics & start again, she’s a young hyper dog so you need a lot of patience with her but she’s incredibly smart and comes from a very good blood line, shes fci registered & we have her papers, she’s also been spayed
