Gamble was taken in as an emergency rehome from a horrible situation and is now looking for his forever home.
Gamble is an extremely sweet, affectionate and social boy who loves people and enjoys being involved. He has great toy and food drive, making him a fun dog for the right person who enjoys training and engagement. He is very biddable, enjoys learning and would suit someone who appreciates the Malinois breed and their quirks.
The important bits – please read honestly:
• Not suitable for a working/protection role
• Good with other dogs but can be over-excitable and lacks manners at times
• Non-reactive, although may react if another dog is reacting towards him
• Can mouth when overexcited (not aggression, excitement/frustration based)
• Sensitive around collar handling and needs patient, fair handling
• Can resource guard food, so management and experience are essential
• No children or small animals
• Needs a breed-experienced, committed home that understands boundaries, structure and fulfilment
Gamble would suit an active, knowledgeable home, potentially a trainer/sport home (obedience, scent work, engagement-based activities etc.) looking for a fun dog to work with — but equally someone realistic who understands he is not a “plug and play” dog.
