Description

This is Benji, I’m looking to rehome him, he such a wonderful character and lovable dog, he is very protective and loves snuggles. Undesirables behaviours: very protective of the house, barking excessively at anyone who comes to the door. Can be nervous of new people/strangers. Not aggressive but will nip in protective mode towards strangers if they are in his space. He lived with me since he was 2 I have a 5 year old daughter and 17 year old and he has been good with them but I would think he would benefit more being in an adult only household. He is toilet trained, good with food doesn’t steal etc or chew anything, doesn’t destroy anything. With other dogs he’s amazing with female dogs, plays nicely. With male dogs he’s good but very intrusive and doesn’t back down which has been challenging at times, never seen any aggression just very intrusive constantly tries to hump. Not been neutered, overall healthy dog but I do see his back end giving him trouble in the future. As sad as it is for me to let him go, I just don’t have the time for him in my new job role and it just isn’t fair for him. I’m not going to see to just anyone, full checks are going to be carried out. I’m not looking for money just a good home.
