Description
Selling our 5 month old puppy, Evie. Due to her not getting along well at all with our 6 year old cat, we feel the relationship between them is escalating to a point where injury is a real possibility, and so to avoid any further risk and stress to both animals, we believe she would be better suited to a household where she is the only pet. Unfortunately at this time we don’t feel that is with our family. We are sad to have to come to this decision but do feel it is in her and our cats best interest. She is a beautiful silver colouring, almost Isabella I would say. She is a full pedigree with both parents also being miniature dachshunds, although she is not LC registered.
Evie, our little lady, is the most affectionate girl, who absolutely loves a cuddle. She gets on well with our young kids and loves to play about with them. If given half the chance she would be in our bed every night to sleep, but she has been crate trained since 8 weeks old and does amazing with it. She loves being buried in blankets up against her humans.
As with most dachshunds, she has a stubborn streak, and likes what she likes, such as familiar walk routes, toys, and routine. She’s also been doing well with training and has shown good progress with things like sit, bed, and answering to her name.
As of this ad being posted, she has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treatment up to date, and has been health checked by a vet within the last month. As she has not yet had her first season, she has not yet been neutered. She is also measuring a good lean weight for a dachshund.
When taking her home, she will be coming with:
- a small crate
- crate cover
- bed
- slow-feading bowl
- bag of food (currently on wainwrights)
- a new harness
- lead
- selection of blankets and toys
- small stairs to assist getting on and off the sofa (to protect her back)
Serious inquiries only please. We want to ensure she is going to the right home next, as we do love her dearly. I’ve no doubt she will make an amazing family pet for someone, even with younger kids.
