I’m looking for a very special home for this gorgeous little calico girl. She was rescued from a farm after being caught and brought to me because she could no longer safely return to living outside. She came from a feral environment, so she is understandably very nervous around people and still hides quite a lot. She is a lovely little girl underneath that nervousness, but she needs someone who understands that she isn’t going to walk straight into a new home and behave like a confident, cuddly kitten. She will need time, patience and somebody willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She would suit someone who: 🐾 has experience with nervous, semi-feral or poorly socialised cats 🐾 has plenty of patience and time to build her confidence 🐾 understands that trust may take weeks or even longer 🐾 can provide a quiet, secure environment where she can settle 🐾 isn’t expecting an instant lap cat She is young, beautiful and has so much potential with the right person. I really don’t want her passed from home to home, so I’m looking for someone who genuinely understands what she needs and is prepared to put the time into her. She came to me as one of two kittens from the same situation. The person who had them on the farm has told me they have been neutered, and the other female has definitely been done, but I haven’t been able to 100% confirm this girl’s neutering yet, so this would need checking with a vet before assuming she has been spayed. I’m having to rehome her because, although I took her in to help her, I simply don’t have the time needed to properly socialise two kittens with this background. I want to be honest about that rather than keep her somewhere that isn’t giving her what she needs. She isn’t a cat for someone wanting an easy, instantly affectionate kitten, she is a little project who needs somebody special. ❤️ Serious enquiries only please.
