Description
German Shepherd – Experienced, Loving Home Required (Very Reluctant Rehome)
We are looking for a special new home for our much-loved German Shepherd. This has been an extremely difficult and emotional decision for our family and is absolutely no fault of her own. Unfortunately, she does not get along with another dog in our household, and we believe she would thrive best as the only pet where she can have calm, consistent attention.
She is fully house trained, well mannered in the home and very cooperative. She is an intelligent, loyal and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys routine, structure and companionship. Like many German Shepherds, she has a naturally protective nature and is happiest in a calm, predictable environment.
She would be best suited to an adult-only home (or older, dog-experienced teenagers) and is not suitable for homes with young children, where she can feel relaxed and secure.
She is five-generation Kennel Club (KC) registered and has not been spayed.
We are seeking a caring, experienced owner who understands the German Shepherd breed and can offer a stable, committed and loving home. We are in no rush, as finding the right home is far more important to us than a quick placement.
An initial visit and meet-and-greet will be required. Due to how difficult this decision has been and the stress multiple moves would cause, serious and committed enquiries only please. We are looking for a permanent home, and prospective owners should be certain they can offer a lifelong commitment, as she will not be able to return once rehomed.
This is an incredibly upsetting decision for our family, and we simply want to see her settled in a safe, understanding home where she can truly thrive.
