Looking for a Loving Forever Home: Handsome 1-Year-Old Black & Tan Cavalier (Jaffa Cake) It is with a very heavy heart that we are writing this post. We recently welcomed Jaffa into our home, but after spending time settling him in, we have realized that our household dynamics are simply not the right fit for his high-energy teenage personality, and our resident dog is struggling to share her space. To ensure Jaffa gets the dedicated time, training, and active lifestyle he deserves—and to restore peace and quiet for our older dog—we have made the difficult decision to find him a new, calm, and loving home. About Jaffa: * Breed & Status: Purebred KC-registered Black & Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Neutered, microchipped, and up to date with his vaccination records. * Age & Energy: He is 14 months old and a true teenage pup—he has very high energy and requires an owner who can dedicate time to his ongoing training and consistent exercise. * Training & Behavior: * Crate & Nighttime: He is fully crate-trained and sleeps completely through the night without any issues. * House Training: Excellent with toilet training; he has never marked inside and is very reliable about going outside. * Commands & Recall: He knows how to sit and wait on command, though his recall is not very good right now and will need further work. * Temperament & Socialization: He is very sweet-natured, loves other dogs, humans and kids and is used to living with other dogs, pets, and children.
