Description
Hi, it is with a heavy heart that we are having to rehome our cocker spaniel. He is very hyper, and has a few issues which I will state below..
1 - he doesn’t like being groomed and can become aggressive but we have been using a specialist who specialises in grooms for reactive dogs.
2 - he can not be re homed with young children under any circumstances, I will not allow this as he is reactive.
Overall he is a great dog and we are so sad doing this but we have no other options. He needs someone who has more time and more space for him to be the dog we know he can be & someone who knows about his breed and can give him the training he needs.
He is just a very nervous dog in some situations which is heart breaking.
We are not asking for a big fee for him but a good home. Maybe a farm where he will have the space and be able to run for miles.
He currently has an implant in which lasts 6 months for neutering, this was to see if having him neutered would help. He has calmed down the slightest with this.
He is fully vaccinated & micro chipped which we have all his vets papers to show he’s been vet checked etc.
As I can’t stress enough please do not take him on if you can’t handle the above. This is with a massive heavy heart & not something we are doing because we want too, but we have no option.
Please no time wasters. We have also contacted dogs trust.
