Description
Are you looking for a dog that is still young enough that you'll get that all important bond, but you don't have the trouble of going through the puppy stage? This is Orville, and she's been trained specifically for this purpose.
Orville is a puppy I kept back with the intention of finding her a home at a later date once she had been professionally trained and all the foundations had been put in correctly. This means she hasn't learnt bad habits or developed behavioural problems due to lack of time or any other reason why a slightly older dog usually comes up for 'sale'.
Orville has grown up in a countryside setting with the freedom to explore and play in a way a young dog should. She travels well in the car, has had trips into town and been well socialised with other dogs.
Orville walks calmly on the lead, without pulling. She has very good recall and will sit and stay patiently. She has been crate trained and has lived indoors with me.
Orville's health tested parents have a very strong pedigree and plenty of accolades to their name. Her mother is an Open Field Trial winner and her father is a Field Trial Champion - the best possible award at competitions. These strong attributes have been passed down - Orville is full of heart, character and general willingness to please.
She has had basic gundog training so retrieves the dummy and brings it back to your hand without dropping it. She also takes direction onto dummies and hunts nicely for a ball. These are all good exercises to keep a working dog stimulated and focused even as an active family companion.
She is microchipped, legally docked (left long enough that she still has a happy waggy tail), KC registered and vaccinated. No expense has been spared with her quality of food - shown by her rich, dark brown and shiny coat.
A lesson and advice will be given on collection to ensure that the transition into Orville's new home is a smooth one.
