Description

This is little Triffid, he is a ginger & white moggy. This rehoming is urgent as he needs an amputation I was quoted £1600 for due to a missing bone in his forearm. Please do not respond to this advert if you cannot afford his treatment either. I am searching desperately for a home that can keep up with any costs he may have as I certainly cannot accommodate them and there are no charities close enough that will help me. I got Triffid a couple of weeks ago as a companion as l am young and disabled with Schizoaffective and since then it has been vets bills due to his leg (radial hemimelia), a disability I was not informed of until he was already home safe. See X-rays. I would love to keep him as he is the softest, sweetest little soul ever, he loves to cuddle once he's warmed up to you and can't get enough pets. He loves it when you rest your whole arm on top of him like deep pressure therapy. He is very happy playing both alone and with you. He has got on swimmingly with my other cat but he's a 5 month old maine coon and can be rough by accident so if you have any other large/boisterous cats in the house supervision is best. I am coming here because all the rescues near me are entirely full and the waiting list for their care is at the very least 4 weeks which is too long for poor Triffid to wait to get the care he needs. He is not vaccinated or microchipped as as the previous owner did not do this and we've been so caught up with his leg that we haven't had the time to fit his vaccination in too. He will come with a soft carrier, food & water bowls, a toy platypus he is fond of and a few of the food pouches he's currently on so you can phase him onto whatever food you'd prefer. He eats and drinks well and the vets say he has no other visible problems so hopefully once the amputation & post-op is over and done with he'll be smooth sailing and a wonderful three-legged companion f). Honestly he is the sweetest ever, so loving and so gentle. He's barely even attacked my feet. Please don't hesitate to message if you're interested/have any questions and we can sort something out.
