I'll start by saying this is through no fault of his own , Leo is a well loved , well cared for loving, gentle, soppy big boy with a huge heart.
Regrettably were looking for a new forever home for him due to him not getting the full attention he deserves Due to new work commitments along with a small child.
Leo is great with people and is always down for a good belly rub from any stranger, with being a German rottweiler he is naturally large and with being very boisterous he can knock small children over very easily which is why we would be looking for a home with more grown up children.
As described above Leo is very boisterous and will need someone who is willing to train him well. He already has house/toilet training down to a tee along with the usual sit commands but can sometimes get over excited.
Leo currently lives with an older dog who is very patient with him and get a long well as we've had him since a pup but he can sometimes be weary about other dogs who approach him.
This is not an easy decision for our family and is breaking both our hearts but we feel like he would benefit from a family who is ready for a challenge, who loves going on walks and just all out adventures.
All persons interested will have to answer some questions for us as we will not let him go to just anybody, ultimately we will decide who is the suitable match for our big baby.
