Description
We are sadly looking to rehome this fella, weve only had him a week after rehoming him due to him being bullied by another dog at his old home who cant take him back.
we took him to the vets and he has some skin issues that we cant afford to care for long term, possibly needs steroid injections and some medication and hypoallergenic food. Best case scenario someone can test him with dofferent foods and hes ok but we just dont know the trigger, could be food could be environmental could be anxiety.
Hes a bit barky with other dogs and likes his own space, hes great with people but would need to be the only dog and pet in the house as hes not great with other dogs or cats in his space, hes fine on walks, usually has a bit of a bark then moves on just when they are in his space he gets uncomfortable. Hes great in the car, crate trained, house trained and all round a great dog, we just cant afford the long term medical things he needs and we live in a cat and dog heavy area and its just not fair on him and we wouldnt have adopted him if we knew he struggled with dogs and had known he had a skin condition, his medical things arent horrible and they are manageable we just cant afford the possibility of consistant medical care
His skin and itchyness could maybe be aided without the medical care with different foods and environmental changes but we just cant afford either route, so he may not need prolonged medicine but we just cant afford to do either
