🐾 Adult-Only Home Needed for Dexter — Loyal, Loving Rottweiler 🐾
Due to a recent separation and my spinal injury, I sadly need to find a new home for our much-loved Rottweiler, Dexter.
Dexter is a handsome, affectionate 2yr 9month old Rottweiler with a big personality. He’s intelligent, energetic, and needs a confident, experienced owner familiar with large breeds.
💙 About Dexter
Age: 2yrs 9months
Temperament: Loving, bright, eager to learn.
Training: House-trained, knows basic commands, needs further structured training
Pedigree: Fifth-generation KC registered
Health: Microchipped and neutered. Had his initial puppy vaccinations, but not up-to-date with recent boosters.
🏡 Suitability
Dexter is not used to children, so he needs an adult-only home.
He is generally good with other dogs, but not with black Labradors due to a bite incident as a pup.
⚠️ Behaviour
Dexter will benefit from ongoing training. He can be:
Reactive to cars on walks
Reactive to people entering or leaving the home due to excitement and anxiety
Protective of new toys — won’t share at first but does after a short time
