I’m looking for a committed and experienced owner for my tri-colour smooth collie as I am urgently relocating out of the UK. He is a male, almost 6 months old (born in June), from a working farm with both parents being active working dogs. He has high energy levels but is well home-trained and knows a good range of commands including sit, steady, up, jump, stand, stay, spin, look, cage, toilet and come. I’m also currently teaching him collie-specific commands such as come by, away and stand.
He eats a balanced meal morning and night and yes—he does poop a lot! He walks well on-lead and off-lead while hiking, and he is an excellent little hiker. With the right training, he has strong potential to be a great working dog. He is emotionally attached, has beautiful eyes and occasionally pees from excitement when you come home. He is extremely active and hyper, so his next owner must be fit, experienced with border collies or working breeds, and able to give him the time, stimulation and companionship he needs. We’ve given him plenty, but he now needs even more than we can currently provide.
He is microchipped, vaccinated, worm-treated and vet-checked (proof provided). Cage, bowls and other essentials will be included—just not his collar and tag.
